Stan Dolberg, Founder and Principal
Founder and principal of Carriage House Consulting, Stan Dolberg brings 30 years of business experience to helping software and services companies boost sales productivity through effective marketing.
Prior
to founding Carriage House Consulting,
Stan served as chief research
officer and vice president of Strategy
at Forrester
Research. Between
1995 and 2002 he led Forrester’s
charge into ecommerce technology
research, scaled research to 250
professionals worldwide, and architected
and led Forrester’s
post-bubble turnaround.
As an
analyst at Forrester Stan wrote,
contributed to, and edited hundreds
of reports on topics ranging
from software infrastructure to
packaged applications to consumer
technology to business economics.
He was a frequent speaker at industry
conferences and keynoted Forrester
Forums in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Before
Forrester, Stan held a series
of senior positions where he
focused on introducing new technologies
and penetrating new markets, including
VP marketing at Visix Software,
partner at Strategic Consulting
Associates, VP worldwide marketing
at Unix System Laboratories, director
of AViiON product marketing at
Data General, and VP marketing
at Adelie Corporation.
Before
entering the computer industry
Stan was an internationally
collected wood artist.
Stan received his undergraduate
degree from Harvard College and
his masters in business administration
from the Carroll School of Management
at Boston College. Stan and his
wife live in a converted stable
on Beacon Hill in Boston where
he pursues fitness, distance
running, smallspace gardening,
and the agony of rooting for
the Red Sox.
